Data Center Exit

Terms of use

To be reviewed before publication. This document is a template. Every bracketed field must be completed and the whole reviewed by counsel before going live.

Purpose

These terms govern use of datacenterexit.com. Data Center Exit decommissions data halls and disposes of the assets. This site describes that work and lets you request a review of a project.

What the service includes

Collecting a project, the call that follows, a site walk, a written scope, and the execution of the scope once signed. Data Center Exit decommissions data halls: asset inventory, de-cabling, rack removal, on-site or witnessed data destruction, resale and recycling, and the certificate trail that proves each of them happened.

What it does not include

  • no price commitment before a site walk and a written scope;
  • no decision on which assets are destroyed rather than erased: that policy is yours;
  • no guarantee that we cover every ZIP code, and we say so on the first call;
  • no legal opinion on your retention or disposal obligations.

Your obligations

You undertake to provide accurate information and to have the authority to share the project details you submit, including any obligations owed to your own customers.

Liability

Information published here is general. It is not tailored advice and is not an authoritative interpretation of any standard or regulation. Verify anything consequential against its source.

Changes

These terms may change. The version that applies is the one online when you submit. See also the legal notice and the privacy policy.
